Transportation

By arranging for rides to doctors and similar appointments when no one else is available. Liability insurance is available to drivers and mileage is income tax deductable.

Telephone Reassurance

By offering encouragement and understanding to lessen the isolation of an older or health-impaired person who is seldom able to get out, lives alone or has no close family and friends.

Vision Loss Service

We also represent the Olean Association for the Blind.

Advocacy Referral

By initiating referrals on the part of the home-bound person to other sources of assistance in the community.

Other Support Services

By offering other non-medical support and assistance to health-impaired and home-bound seniors, based on individual need and volunteer availability.
